As we close the first quarter and the month of March, there is much to celebrate and lots of optimism and hope exists on the horizon. March also signifies Women’s History Month. Our industry has traditionally had a heavy male influence, but there are so many women who are essential to U.S. Pipe’s success and the growth of our industry. Women play a critical role at U.S. Pipe in manufacturing, sales, shipping, customer service, maintenance, our supply chain, and so many more parts of our team. Our team is a singular one made up of teammates that are each unique. Each of you has your own beliefs, approaches, motivators, and personal desires at U.S. Pipe and beyond. Each of you comes from a different background shaped by your own experiences. You’ve had your own challenges. You’ve been shaped by a truly unique combination of influences. That diversity is what we are celebrating today and will continue to do so in the future. It is that diversity combined with the power of trust and communication that enables us to achieve so much more than a group of individuals otherwise could.
So as we close the first quarter and the month of March, there is much to celebrate and lots of optimism and hope exists on the horizon. As the month comes to an end, please take a moment to reflect on the perspectives of these talented women in our organization. Engage each other in open dialogue and thank each other for their contributions to U.S. Pipe. It’s not just the effort we should applaud, but the diversity of thought with which each of us shows up to work each day.
