Larger fittings, except caps, plugs and sleeves, are cement-mortar lined.
Instant joint restraint can be obtained for TYTON JOINT® Fittings and TYTON JOINT® Pipe, sizes 4″ – 24″, with the use of FIELD LOK 350® Gaskets.
TYTON JOINT® Pipe, push-on joint, has become so popular since its introduction in 1956 that it now constitutes more than 95% of the pipe shipped by U.S. Pipe. In 1965, U.S. Pipe introduced 4″–12″* TYTON® Fittings. Later, U.S. Pipe introduced 14″–24″. TYTON Fittings are also produced in metric diameters for the international market. 4-12″ fittings are now called TRIM TYTON Fittings, 14-24″ TYTON Fittings are shown here.
