MaxiFit (wide tolerance range) products are designed to accommodate plain ended pipes with different outside diameters. One fitting is able to connect a wide variety of pipe materials, including steel, ductile iron, PVC, cast iron, GRP and asbestos cement pipes. Their wide tolerance and suitability to a range of materials makes them ideal for repair situations.
Quick and easy installation is taken care of as the range is pre-assembled with a gasket which has ‘slide easy’ ribs that reduce friction on pipes at the upper tolerance range of the fittings, providing maximum sealing pressure, even on damaged pipe surfaces.
Large diameter couplings and flange adapters are simple to install in any weather and trench conditions, have a minimum 50-year life expectancy and offer long-term corrosion protection. Metal components are coated with Rilsan Nylon 11 (WRAS approved for use with potable water).
